I always think of apple picking as a fall activity. Standing in an orchard and selecting the best apples right from the trees. But don’t wait on it! Apple Picking starts in August and runs through September and October. So plan your trip and discover where to go apple picking near Greenville, SC.

Most orchards are outside of Greenville (with my favorites up in North Carolina). And definitely plan this activity in August to match up with your favorite apple varieties. If you wait too long, you’ll be limited.

Lots of the farms have different activities and offerings. I’ll try to summarize what I can below. And go prepared with bug spray and sunscreen.
