Looking for the perfect Christmas tree for this holiday season? Want to head out to a farm to cut your own or go to local establishment instead of just picking one up at a box store? Then you’re in luck! There are lots of Christmas tree farms in Greenville or within a couple of hours.

A couple of notes as you go Christmas tree shopping. Many farms sell out very early and very fast. For 2022, we are trying to buy our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. Simply because we are usually out of town Thanksgiving weekend and we really like to cut our own Christmas tree.

So even though it may (or may not) hurt your no-Christmas-till-December heart, plan to get your tree sooner rather than later.

Also, Fraser Fir trees are usually only found up in the NC mountains. That’s where we try to go if we can. So if this is what you want to do, make sure to budget a whole day for the excursion.

Lastly, I tend to get my tree from the same farm year after year. So these are the others in the area that I’ve found and curated into one list. If you know of another, please drop a note in the comments and I’ll update the list!

The farms and lots are ordered from closest to farthest from Greenville (driving time).

For live updates on tree availability, check the farm’s Facebook page if they have one. I’ve included a link where I can for this!
